This ceremony marks a sacred and significant moment in the life of An Offering of the Heart. Together with Seattle Children’s Hospital, we gather to unveil a commemorative plaque honoring the life and legacy of Alana Corazon Bernal. Alana’s memory continues to inspire our mission: to bring comfort, healing, and hope to families navigating the unimaginable loss of a child.
The Plaque Ceremony honored the life and legacy of Alana Corazon Bernal and marked the beginning of An Offering of the Heart. Gathering at Seattle Children’s Hospital, family, friends, and care teams dedicated a permanent plaque as a symbol of remembrance, love, and hope. The event celebrated the community that stood with Alana and launched ongoing support for families through our endowment with Seattle Childrens Hospital.
The plaque ceremony brought together the staff of the CICU floor, who so lovingly dedicate themselves to the healing of children and families. Alongside them were the board members of An Offering of the Heart, the directors of the Seattle Children’s Hospital team, and a wide circle of family, friends, and countless others whose lives have been touched by the light Alana Corazon Bernal left behind. Together, their presence reflected both remembrance and the shared commitment to carrying her legacy forward.
